So I finally broke down and decided to create a blog! I have been wanting to write one for awhile but there have been several factors that have held me back. Now that I have plenty of time (besides job hunting) I thought it would be perfect to start one. I really have no idea what is going on with my blog design, so I will have to work on that.
I am a 20 something, recent UF graduate (for the second time), in the middle of moving home, planning a wedding, and if that wasn't enough building a house. I got engaged to the love of my life after close to 6 years together and our wedding is set for March 8, 2014 in Naples, Florida (our hometown). I have the most amazing best friends any girl could ever ask for! Even though we live in different areas across Florida and even New York, whenever I am with them it is as if nothing has ever changed. They know EVERYTHING about me and I could never survive without them. I am obsessed with my one year old, persian catBabyLu . His nickname is Snuggle because he looks like the downy bear (at least I think so). I absolutely LOVE to read anything but in particular books on English Royalty (mainly the Tudors) and I have the WORST sweet tooth (teeth) in the world! A wedding diet will NEVER happen.
I am a DIEHARD, loyal, FSUhating , Go Gata screaming fan. I will never cheer for any other team unless it somehow helps the Gators. UF changed my life, and this recent graduation was SO bittersweet. I can honestly say UF helped me become the person I am today. My bachelor's and master's degrees from UF mean more to me than almost anything in the world.
There is no theme for this blog yet. It will most likely consists of me talking incessantly about my upcoming wedding and the house Shane and I are building together in Naples. I think for my next post I will put up some pictures from my recent graduation. I had the most AMAZING fellow students in my master's program and I love them all so much. We had a type of camaraderie that is rare especially at an extremely competitive school like UF. It was like a family and I will miss them all dearly!
I just feel like adding some photos to this first post so here it goes!
