It's FRI-YAY!!! I am so excited it is finally the weekend. One of my great friends will be in town this weekend and we are all planning on going out for a nice dinner, drinks, and girl talk. It will be fun to get dressed up and hang out together.
With summer ending I am frantically going through all my "summery" outfits to wear before the weather changes. I bought this Elizabeth Wilson dress months and months ago, but never got around to getting it hemmed so it just sat in my closet. I finally took a few things to the tailor and voila, it was ready to wear! Elizabeth has the cutest dresses and tops perfect for any preppy look. Her Etsy shop SeersuckerRuffles is currently on a short break, but will re-open again soon. You can find out all about her and her pieces on Instagram at @elizabethwilsondesigns.
Pairing this dress with my favorite pink purse was a no brainer. I love pink and blue together and any chance to use this Kate Spade beau bag is fine with me! :) I am so glad I bought this bag back when it was out. It was an impulse buy and at the time I thought may only be a trendy item, but it has turned into a classic piece for me.
I would describe my personal style as classic and feminine {a majority of the time} and these Chanel flats are the epitome of everything classic and feminine. They take a bit of breaking in, but they are so comfortable now. A nude ballet flat with a timeless design is a wardrobe staple and I know I will be wearing these flats for many, many years to come.
I hope everyone has an amazing weekend and thanks for stopping by!
