Blazer {c/o} // Blouse // Jeans // Shoes // Bracelet here and here // Ring
Hello everyone!
It has been a crazy Monday already but I wanted to make sure I uploaded all the details of my outfit from yesterdays blogger event at J. Crew at Coconut Point.
I had such a blast meeting a few followers, interacting with many of the J. Crew customers and chatting and styling with the saleswomen at the store. I missed styling women and picking out different outfits now that I no longer work in retail. I love to be creative and I have definitely missed that aspect in life and I so hope I can do another event like this one with J. Crew or other retailers in our area.
If you have followed me for awhile you know my style is very preppy, colorful {but I LOVEEEE black} and classic. I love timeless pieces that I can re-wear and style different ways throughout the years. I do dabble in trends from time to time but I tend to stick to my favorite, classic silhouettes. Like right now I am totally on board with the sneakers and dresses trend and taking every opportunity to wear those pieces together.
Since I am a lover of classic clothing J.Crew has always been a favorite of mine. I bought that stunning yellow, eyelet dress before our trip to Mexico and that is still a huge favorite. The quality of J.Crew's clothing is almost always excellent and will last you years if you take care of them properly. I have so many more amazing pieces from them and that I have had for years.
The idea behind this event was to showcase J. Crew's staple pieces {blazers, cashmere, colors} and add your own personal style to these pieces. As I mentioned above, I love classic silhouettes and I am huge fan of J.Crew's blazers. I absolutely love blazers and other items that add an equestrian vibe. I have loved that since I was in college. Once I even had a professor ask if I had come from riding. I told him that was the best compliment ever.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the way I styled these pieces and I cannot wait to show you how I re-style them with other pieces in my closet.
Thanks for stopping by!
